“Okay, it's really absurd that this story doesn't have any recommendations, so I'm going to write it, even though I'm not good at it. Firstly, the writing is wonderful. The way the fic is written, in the form of a letter from Nathaniel to Castiel, really manages to express the emotions that exist within Nathaniel's heart almost perfectly. The way moments passed between the two are mentioned gives a feeling of nostalgia even to the reader, even if he is not nor was he part of the story. The way the characters are characterized, the way Nathaniel expresses himself and how he describes Castiel really made me happy. It's that kind of characterization that makes anyone happy, it's so perfect. It's really impressive how the author managed to express so many conflicting feelings in a short chapter, and feelings from a person who doesn't seem used to/comfortable with them. I absolutely loved this story and the only reason I didn't write a recommendation sooner was because I didn't have time. Congratulations to the author and I hope her writing only continues to evolve!”
