In a distant kingdom, the last two survivors of an ancient wizarding clan receive an important warning that they are in danger. To guarantee their right to continue to exist, they need to resort to the ancestry of their magic. When such times are announced, the guardian of the clan must be invoked. May the Daughters of the Goddess be glorified. And may your enemies repent. Original oneshot.

During the Viking Expansions, the Greenlandic explorer Leif Erikson, son of Erik the Red, ventured far across the seas and ended up reaching the Americas around 1000 AD, becoming the first European to set foot in the region that would become Canada. His initial contact with the native people was peaceful. There founding the settlement known today as L'Anse Aux Meadows, Erikson returned to Greenland to bring more people to the newly discovered continent where, far from the fjords and glacial shores of their homeland, they could plant and settle. However, being back, Leif was informed of his father's death and had to assume the throne, never returning to the colony. Without his leadership, new Vikings arrived in America, showing themselves to be much less friendly with the natives. War then became inevitable. In the middle of the conflict, Ulf Gunnarsson, a Greenlandic noble, must fight to survive and honor an important oath through which he unknowingly sealed his fate. Oneshot about friendship, honor, sacrifice and courage during a journey that arises when two very different cultures collide.
