Gotham, 1962. At the church altar, Dinah Lance sang and moved the heavens with her voice. From a distance, a young man smiled satisfied, he wore a suit on Sunday morning and whenever he could he presented her with flowers. Helena Bertinelli's brother liked her, but Dinah pretended he was Helena. Nobody said that first love couldn't be a little cruel.

"Dinah observes the unexpected situation. The one responsible for the deaths of several killers in Gotham, sitting in the chair by the diner window, sharing fries. Dinah could agree with Montoya, laugh with Harley, yet was so oblivious the conversation, therefore, analyzed the fearsome Beast Killer offering his curt answers or that usual face of incomprehension: two creases between the eyebrows and slightly parted lips. In the cafeteria parking lot, she found a subject. Weapons. Helena spoke. low and slightly excited. The sun was already setting and the lingering rays were penetrating those brown irises and Dinah was losing all interest in the difference between bows and crossbows. Helena's eyes. Helena's smile. She needed second thoughts and perhaps keeping her desire soft."

warrior

A warrior. It is what he is. One not limited to a hood, far more than the arrows he shoots, one who calls the battlefield home. Only the dead know the end of the war, and Oliver Queen did not die. An alliance whose objective does not understand the purpose of war is meaningless and valueless. Alliances are made just to fight. And however distant in time the conflict is at the moment of concluding an alliance pact, the prospect of an armed realization is, however, the intimate pretext for it to happen.

Canary Cry

Laurel had just arrived from Central City, where the particle accelerator had exploded and given the lawyer a new lease of life. Things weren't looking great in Star City either after the arrival of the mysterious Green Arrow and the reappearance of his old teenage love Oliver Queen, who everyone believed was dead. Justice wasn't as effective in broad daylight either, so to do what's right, Laurel teams up with Arrow by adopting the Black Canary identity.
