Vengeance

After attacking more than one New Species companion, Justice North decides that Vengeance can no longer live near humans. Forced into the Reservation, he no longer feels anything but hatred for his kind. Exiled and considered dangerous, his adaptation went from bad to worse. Everything Vengeance wanted was written in his name. Revenge. But that wouldn't be possible cornered and guarded in the Wild Zone. Everything changes when in a mess on the Reservation, Vengeance manages to escape to the outside world. Seeking shelter, he finds himself inside an abandoned shed. Or at least that's what he thought until he saw a bunch huddled on the ground under a dirty tarp. The rough floor of the shed didn't bother as much as it had the night before, Amberly knew it was only a matter of time before they shooed her out of the place, but she had no idea it would be as quickly as it was happening. . Invaded by panic, she couldn't understand what she was doing in the arms of that huge beast that carried her, due to the last events of her life, the screams stuck in her throat remained trapped there, the fear of being surrounded by a stranger made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end, reminding him of how terrifying his confinement was, the constant abuse, the beatings and the hatred stamped in the eyes of the former aggressor. And worst of all, the only thing she could do was keep breathing.

In the vast and indifferent fabric of space-time, where improbability is a constant and logic is rarely invited for tea, there exists the Department of Interdimensional Bureaucracy (DIB). Its purpose? To ensure that reality remains minimally functional or, at least, sufficiently confusing so that no one notices otherwise. But something went wrong. Horribly, catastrophically, fill-out-three-copies-of-reports wrong. Immanuel Breckford, a man whose greatest achievement until then was remembering where he left his keys, unexpectedly finds himself involved in one of the DIB's most catastrophic failures. Upon receiving a Temporary Ontological Adjustment Request Form 42/B, his existence is recalculated. To correct this cosmic blunder, the DIB sends Artemis Xyllan-7, Senior Auditor and specialist in metaphysical disasters. Armed with an expired stopwatch, a pen that alters probabilities, and the patience of a black hole, she has little time (and even less desire) to fix the problem before the universe decides to file Immanuel away permanently.

Light at the End of the World

In Hawkins, things rarely disappear for good; they change shape, location, or name and keep circulating under the guise of normality. In the summer of 1985, the town is still awash in color, music, and activity, while small inconsistencies remain scattered among ordinary events, unfinished stories, and coincidences that seem to linger longer than they should. For someone who came here hoping to find nothing but distance, the place begins to take on a strangeness that is difficult to pin down, as if something were always slightly out of place, too close to ignore and too obscure to name.
