“Definitely one of the best Kuroshitsuji fanfics on this site. I like AU, I'm suspicious of it, but between us, it's difficult to have an AU that respects the original personality, that respects the original feeling. I love this fic, because it's a perfect adaptation of what I imagine Sebastian's relationship with Ciel would be like if they lived in a world where they weren't master and servant. I like how this fic plays with different perspectives that the two characters have of the same situation. Who is the bully? Who started it? And, most of all, I like how completely non-cliché this fic manages to show a love-hate relationship. Again, I'm suspicious of talking, ignoring all the annoying clichés about angry people who keep finding reasons to fight, I'm in love with the tenuous love-hate. I like how Sebastian was a child who wanted Ciel's attention and fought with him because he thought he was close to him like that, when they fought. For him, everything was like a game, a connection between him and Ciel, in a distorted and very interesting way. I wish from the bottom of my heart that this fic continues more and more, because I was 100% full of strength, focus and faith for the entrance exam, but this fic completely took me out of orbit. I had already read it, but I had to reread it when I accidentally found it again here on Nyah. And now I NEED more, because it took me months to stop hoping for the update and now it's going to take me more months to lose hope again. So, I beg you for more, help these poor painful souls, Author-chan. Ps: Read and comment a lot, this fic deserves it so much.”
