I love Pitty so my cousin and I decided to put what we liked about pitty and this wonderful singer here goes her biography: Born in the capital of Bahia, Pitty spent her childhood in Porto Seguro, in the same state. Her father, musician and bar owner, played a lot of songs by fellow countryman Raul Seixas, as well as many other rockers from the 1960s and 1970s, such as the Beatles, Elvis Presley and Lou Reed. Later, bands such as AC / DC, Nirvana, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Metallica, Faith No More, Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age and Muse were part of her main influences. she grew up in the midst of independent bands from Bahia, with whom she participated in concerts at a bar in Salvador. One day, she joined the circle singing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by the band Nirvana and since then decided to invest in the music area, with the support of the great name of the underground scene Rogério Big Brother (owner of the bigbross records label). she also participated in the band Shes (1997–1999) as a drummer. The band was also formed by Carol Ribeiro (guitar), Liz Bee (guitar and vocals) and Lulu (bass). Pitty also participated in the band Inkoma (1995–2001), starting his career as a vocalist. she was a student at the Faculty of Music of the Federal University of Bahia. Pitty was contacted by music producer Rafael Ramos (the same as bands from the Brazilian teen mainstream and from the independent scene, such as Raimundos and Matanza). In 2003, she released her first album, Admirável Chip Novo, where she gained her fame and sold over 250,000 copies. In 2005 she released the CD Anacrônico and showed that she is here to stay, always scoring several hits. That album sold over 500,000 copies. In 2007, after the Anacrônico tour, she released her first live DVD, {Des}Concerto ao Vivo. In addition to being released in CD, DVD and DualDisc formats, the band's concert record was also released on a cell phone model, the result of a partnership with Nokia. As a result, Pitty received the "Platinum Cell Phone" award for selling 200,000 devices containing his album. In 2009, she released her latest album called Chiaroscuro. The album's first single, Me Adora, soon reached the top spots on major Brazilian radio stations. Chiaroscuro won a cell phone game that is based on her songs, something unprecedented in the country, called Chiaroscuro: The Game. Due to the popular vote, Pitty won several awards at MTV Video Music Brasil, from MTV Brasil, among them he was twice artist of the year, won the award for clip of the year, show of the year, three times in a row as a vocalist from the band of dreams and many others.
