Gabriel

Sinossi

Being a Hunter was Lorenzo's life. This is what he was trained for, this is what his family was chosen for, among many others, in the past. A Hunter had only one job: to maintain balance, to prevent angels and demons from using human territory as a battleground for a war that has been promised for millennia. And for millennia the Cipriani clan has done their job to perfection. But then, a damn angel turned up dead in an alley in Rome, the main suspect in the murder was a demon, and the case would be like any other except for one detail: Lorenzo would have to work with Hunter. Hunter wasn't a Hunter. Hunter was a half-blood who thought he could be a Hunter. He was a pain in the ass, a pain in the ass, and Lorenzo hated him. And no, this had nothing to do with them being lovers in the past. Nothing to do at all.

The world has ended. There is no future left on the outside, nor humanity waiting to be rescued. What exists is a reality preserved by the will of a single person who keeps the memory of the world and everything that remains of humanity. The problem is that not everyone agrees that this existence should continue... Eine, a survivor of the catastrophe that destroyed human reality, dedicates her existence to ending the last traces of the people who were once at the center of these events. But, being unable to interfere directly in a dream that still continues, she must find hosts among the people who inhabit it. Her new attempt is Claire Williams. At nineteen, Claire has very ordinary concerns: university, the debts she took on to study, and the future she believes she is building. Now, however, she shares her own consciousness with a young man who knows a reality she cannot accept. As the boundaries between memory and existence begin to dissolve, those who walk between the two extremes will have to confront a question for which there may be no right answer: when the world has already ended, what does it mean to keep living?

In the beginning of all things, before time was counted, the Void shaped the two fundamental forces of Erion: the Light of Nazari and the Shadow of Apolion. Decreed never to coexist in a single being, these forces collapsed when envy corrupted the darkness, spawning monsters and the Seven Deadly Sins. Eras later, when the fabric of the world threatens to give way, Elrick appears: a young man forged in pain and the assassin arts who breaks the most primordial rule of the cosmos. Mastering the four natural elements and uniting Light and Shadow, he discovers that his draconic blood and his destiny are intertwined with the supreme force of Creation: the legendary Seventh Element, the Void.

In a city devastated by war, we follow the journey of two survivors who have learned, each in their own way, to live with violence, loss, and loneliness. He does not know that he saved her life. She knows only that he is more dangerous than the killers who threatened her. Neither of them seeks company. Nor do they believe that there is still room for kindness in a world where surviving demands so much. But a dead boy and an almost insignificant act of kindness end up intertwining their fates. Between small acts of care, silences, and difficult choices, two strangers discover that surviving the war may not be as difficult as learning to live after everything they have lost.
