After twenty-seven years of seeing dead people; Archaeologist Lys Mclaine has seen it all: severed ghosts looking for their heads, dead religious fanatics killing the living as if in a trial, souls who don't know they're dead, souls who don't want to accept they're dead... and she's proud to say that it didn't help any of them and that still, after all these macabre experiences, who is not afraid of anything. After moving to Stirling, a small medieval town in Scotland, she works, obviously encounters more ghosts, however, a certain event changes the idea of not fearing anything from Lys completely; getting to the main point: How far would she go for fear of losing someone?
