A few thoughts on the "shackle" on Xie Lian's ankle.
Xie Lian does some soul-searching about the times she kissed Hua Cheng.
Continuation of "And I Meet You in Heaven". ― San Lang wants to be much more than a believer of mine, doesn't he? The ghost looked away. ―I mean... He kissed him. But not everything is solved with just a kiss.
Xie Lian ascends to the heavens for the third time after being banished twice. Wandering the streets of heaven alone Xie Lian tries to strike up conversations with other gods, but he is always ignored and laughed at. After a prayer, the ex-prince meets a young man in red clothes, who for some reason everyone seems to fear him.
"Daozhang, how can I help you?" a gentle voice came from his right. Lan Wangji turned his head, finding a man with a friendly smile on his face. He was also a cultivator, judging by the white robes he wore and the spiritual energy Lan Wangji could feel coming from him, pulsing and warm like the sun. But unlike him, this man belonged to the world of the living. Lan Wangji bowed in a polite bow. "Greetings, fellow cultivator. I'm looking for information." "What is daozhang looking for?" Lan Wangji took a deep breath, needlessly, just to have a second to prepare. "I'm looking for information about a soul. Has a man named Wei Wuxian ever passed through the Ghost Town?"
Xie Lian loses what little self-control he had after his parents died, but one person still cares about him.
