Damian and Jon were different people in many ways. However, there was an important singularity that united them and that was strong enough to overshadow everything else: they were both sons of heroes. Two of the greatest superheroes of all time. Maybe that was why, after all, they knew that leading a double life could often end up becoming a lonely path. Or maybe that was just the fundamental reason that had brought them together and made them best friends. The constant fight against crime was definitely less atrocious when divided, but neither of them had ever considered adding someone else to that equation. That is, at least not until Ellie Arvin enters their lives.
