Synopsis

Ellora finds herself trapped in a miserable life, working tirelessly for her stepmother and stepsisters. Daughter of an interracial relationship, Ella finds herself lacking the courage to retaliate for the abuse she suffers, for fear of the retaliation she will receive both at home and in society. As time goes on, the advice to have "courage and be kind" she received from her mother years before seems to be not enough to withstand what she experiences every day. Cassian, the prince of the kingdom, had been blinded years before and, out of a general belief that the justification for doing so would be a curse, had his long-planned marriage to the princess of the neighboring kingdom, undone. . To solve this sudden problem, the king decides to organize a ball, in which the prince will have to choose his future wife, even though the idea seems ridiculous to him. With the help of magic or not, the dance is the great chance for the two to find their happy endings, in each other and within themselves.
