glass slipper
In this modern-day retelling of Cinderella, Ella moves with her family to Scotland when her stepmother and two step-sisters spend all of the family inheritance, leaving only the house where her father spent his childhood. Despite her reluctance about the new life she would have, Ella sees in Scotland the chance to at least fight to fulfill her dream: to be a professionally recognized violinist. However, in addition to having Anastasia, Drizella and Lady T. ready to disturb her at any cost, what would her reaction be when faced with a beautiful ball and a handsome prince? Would she be willing to give up not only her professional future, but also her dream, to live this love?

“Do you want fairy tales in a realistic setting? Do you want real and passionate characters? Do you want an engaging story that makes you daydream? then read glass slipper. I'm not much of a recommender of stories as I consider myself someone who is a bit picky when reading, but I really felt compelled to recommend this story. If I had to choose a single word to describe the story it would be PERFECTION. The setting is described perfectly, giving the feeling of already knowing the place, the characters are so real and human and the writing is really engaging. Anyone who reads it really won't regret it.”
