Raphael

Aziraphale was the reminder of the ignorance and naivety of all angels. He was given a flaming sword and a task. They pushed him away, afraid that the poor angel would have the same fate as the many other fallen ones. Gabriel, Michael and Uriel had been selfish in allowing such an act of cruelty, but what could they do if they didn't remove all that flawed feeling that would corrupt the Principality to its death? This is a story from before the fall, during the fall and after the fall, told by the three Archangels remaining in heaven. After all, they are the only ones who still remembered and the only ones who had the ability to keep their masks intact.
