Rausch, The Next

Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Little Red Riding Hood. There has always been a reason for each of them to exist, as well as a reason for their stories to be told. The world was divided, its kingdoms were at war. Unreal, real, there wasn't a part that wasn't under the ashes of ambition. The fairies had saved their stories, while they thought about what to do to heal the ills of the world. And they did. They told stories about normal people, devastated by all the evils of the human being, survivors of witchcraft and monsters. But they find a certain phrase at the end of it all: Happily ever after. Meanwhile, the fairy kingdom itself was going through its worst moment, decay due to the death of its royal couple. Only the successors remained: Lyra and Ekaterina. Two princesses, with different personalities. The world needed the stories, or it would crumble again, but there were not two thrones, and love crumbled Lyra's whole life. In love with a human, all she had left when he was murdered was a small child. Angry at her sister, Ekaterina ascended to power, ordering the child banished from that world forever. Devastated by everything, Lyra was never seen again. And then, mysteriously, there was peace. She reigned for centuries, until the worlds converged, as if it was no longer possible to escape the existing link. And the moment the first fairy fell, Ekaterina knew they were dying. The fairies would fall unless something happened. The connection of the two worlds was brought back. The missing child. If you want to hear tales, you need to know the fairies. The woods will call your name.
