“Why recommend "Mercy"?! Well, this beautiful story about an episode of Castle that affected the emotional structures of an entire fandom is truly captivating. The way the facts were presented, the internal struggle that Rick Castle has (and that people can feel with him) to decide whether or not to forgive Kate for the lie, Kate's desperation when she runs after him and sees that this is her only chance not to lose your love, it's all beautiful to read. I was moved and very moved by this fanfic, and I'm sure anyone who reads it will be too!”
