Super Sons

Damian and Jon were different people in many ways. However, there was an important singularity that united them and that was strong enough to overshadow everything else: they were both sons of heroes. Two of the greatest superheroes of all time. Maybe that was why, after all, they knew that leading a double life could often end up becoming a lonely path. Or maybe that was just the fundamental reason that had brought them together and made them best friends. The constant fight against crime was definitely less atrocious when divided, but neither of them had ever considered adding someone else to that equation. That is, at least not until Ellie Arvin enters their lives.
Years after the dissolution of the original team (comprising Aqualad, Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian and Artemis, among others), the children of Earth's most famous heroes decided to unite and take on the name as a legacy, reactivating the team, now with new members but with the same purpose: to help the league and protect the world. Together for almost a year, these young heroes have been acting as a team of their own, affiliated with the Justice League, whom they help whenever they're asked. They have villains and problems of their own. From the list of threats to the planet, the League of Shadows never left the top. With the rise of Ibn al Xu'ffasch - a figure so dark and twisted that both the Justice League and the Titans are on a perpetual crusade to bring him to justice and sanity - the dominance of this powerful organization seems destined for its heyday. However, an ascent can often mark a downfall: Ibn al Xu'ffasch cannot acquire full power over the League of Shadows until he turns 21. And if it's up to Jonathan Kent, Ibn won't live long enough for the birthday. [AU]
Jon wasn't expecting the turn his Tuesday would take when Damian once again broke into his school and called him on a mission. But most of all, he didn't expect /really/ to see his best friend wearing nothing but a gold swim trunks while dancing on stage.
