Em conclusão, "Carry On" é uma série de livros que oferece uma abordagem refrescante à fantasia contemporânea. Simon Snow never quite understood people's emotional baggage around Christmas. Whether positively or negatively, it seems that everyone has a strong opinion about the date and, for him, that was always a holiday like any other. Themed movies, typical food (when the Orphanage I was in received a more generous donation or since when the Wellbeloves began to spend their holidays) and decorated rooms. I mean... it's nice, but nothing special, right? This year, though, he's agreed to spend the holidays with Baz and maybe he'll finally have the opportunity to be swept up in the Christmas spirit... Or The unplanned follow-up to "In Every Christmas Carol".
The son of renowned Principal Pitch has always been a musical person, performing at Watford recitals with his violin from the time he was old enough to hold it. What most people in the Mage world might not realize, however, is that there was as much fire in Baz's veins as there was in his magic... (Or: The one in that Baz has a rock band)
Baz always knew that Simon Snow was the protagonist of the story. What he's not sure - but hopes so, with all his faith - is that his adventure epilogue is just the first chapter of a narrative with a happy ending.
Simon is having a nightmare. Not exactly an unusual scene at the top of the Mimic Tower. Baz has seen moments similar to this a million times over the years he and Snow shared a room, but for some reason tonight it seems impossible to turn away from him and ignore his rapid breathing and his whimpers.
Shortly after Baz returns from his disappearance at the beginning of seventh year, Simon proposes a truce, but the Chosen One is frustrated with so many feelings and doubts accumulating, so that peace doesn't last. After a fight, the roommates are forced to spend detention tidying up Watford's music room and of course this is the perfect opportunity for Simon's magic to go awry (or would it finally do something absolutely right?) and they get started. to sing your feelings.
When they land in England after their disastrous trip to the United States, Simon and Baz still haven't properly talked about their heated argument on the beach across the Atlantic. During the entire flight, as he pretended to sleep, in the mind of the former Chosen only one phrase echoes - "How can you not see that I wouldn't be happy anywhere without you?" – and that would probably take him off the ground. Or maybe he finally offered solid ground to land on.
What if Simon somehow suspects that Baz feels something other than hatred for him still in Watford, well before the world as he knew it crumbled? Or The one where Simon, for once in his life, is not impulsive about recent discoveries and his own feelings, allowing himself to assimilate the facts little by little.
Simon accidentally discovers that the impassive Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch is ticklish, and that suddenly seems like the best way to bring his arch-nemesis down. A battle of laughter and teasing followed by (perhaps) a surrender...

Baz Pitch just wanted to be able to enjoy the holiday in peace, but by a misfortune of nature, of course, all the festive tunes seem to bring back precisely the memory of whom he would like to forget...
Everyone knows that Snow is terrible at handling his own magic. In one of the usual arguments with his roommate, Baz Grimm-Pitch, the Chosen One accidentally ends up turning the vampire into another (to some, much less threatening) creature. Fortunately, or not so, Simon won't need to wield his wand to bring his enemy back to human form; all he has to do is kiss you.
They haven't spoken in years, but Baz Pitch needs a date for a Christmas party and Simon Snow is in town. The point is that neither of them expects this reunion, nor the doubts and feelings that he can rescue.
