“With just 368 words, this One-Shot can shake anyone's feelings. At the same time that I felt immensely sad about Francis' death, unlike the series, this One-Shot was able to comfort me. In a way, imagining that these were Francis' last thoughts, softened and made my pain a little worse. I never thought I would feel so much about the death of a character and the end of a love story in a series, but I soon remember that the story of Mary and Francis is not just fiction. It was literally history. I'm not sure if knowing that Mary and Francis really existed makes me happy that such a beautiful passion existed or sad that such a beautiful passion no longer existed. But it must have been one of the most beautiful deaths ever, as described in the One-Shot. Just like the real story and the series, this One-Shot is beautiful, but devastating in many ways. The OTP is dead. Long live OTP!”
