They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, but what they don't know is that the soul is the book of memories that no one wants to read. What happens, then, when there are no more eyes to see or masks to hide? What happens when all that's left are unspoken secrets and memories you hope to forget? When pain can no longer be hidden by a smile and despair can no longer be replaced by pretty words, would you hear the cries for help from those who can no longer be heard? Would you follow them even if it meant looking into the abyss, even though you knew the abyss would stare back at you? —Sans? —I'm here. —Don't let me lose myself, please. Your soul is filled with determination.

Long ago there were humans, witches and dragons. The peace between them might be fragile, but it still existed. Humans are a warrior race, witches are a race endowed with magic like dragons, and dragons are magnificent beasts that create whatever they please with their will. One day, the witches decided to get close to the dragons and with that, their closeness became a friendship between them. But one day everything changed, humans started hunting dragons after discovering that they gave them a lot of resources like meat, leather and even their horns could be used as blades. When the witches learned of this, a war between humans against witches and dragons began. Witches and dragons might be gifted with magic, but they lacked the warrior spirit of humans.
