After the genesis of the world, three pairs of primary elements will never be one again. But is this really true? Will Water never be together with Fire, Earth will not be united with Air and will Darkness never be in its eternal struggle against Light? Seven years before the birth of the guardian Leran Yandel, contradicting all the most accepted theses in the world of control, the Star of the Mist element awakens. Core of the unlikely antipode of fire and water, she now has the duty to discover more about herself and about her role as Star, which revolves around principles different from the other regulars that watch over the balance of the world.
Boom's story can be a lot deeper than you think when everyone looks at the Guild's short, hot-headed controller, and her choices may have done a lot more for Leran and Acigam than anyone realizes. The big question is whether or not these choices will have good consequences.
The city of Acigam was changed by the war. Now its citizens must resume their lives... But how, if they lived for so long in a lie? Fiona, trying to fit in in the new city, sets off in search of magic. What will she find in a post-war Acigam?
