A Turma da Mônica é uma série de histórias em quadrinhos criada pelo cartunista brasileiro Mauricio de Sousa. A primeira edição foi publicada em 1959, e desde então se tornou um dos maiores fenômenos da cultura pop no Brasil. A história se passa na fictícia cidade do Limoeiro e gira em torno das aventuras de um grupo de crianças: Mônica, Cebolinha, Cascão e Magali. Cada personagem tem sua personalidade única e características marcantes que os tornam facilmente identificáveis. Mônica é a líder do grupo, conhecida por sua força física e temperamento explosivo. Ela sempre carrega consigo seu coelho de pelúcia chamado Sansão. Cebolinha é famoso por suas tramas para tentar roubar o coelho da Mônica, mas acaba trocando as letras "R" pelos "L". Cascão é o amigo sujinho que tem medo de água e está sempre fugindo dos banhos. Já Magali é a comilona do grupo, sempre pronta para devorar qualquer coisa que esteja à sua frente. Ao longo dos anos, a Turma da Mônica ganhou diversos outros personagens secundários que também conquistaram o coração do público brasileiro. Entre eles estão Chico Bento, um menino caipira; Franjinha, um inventor mirim; Tina, uma adolescente moderna; e muitos outros. Além das histórias em quadrinhos impressas, a Turma da Mônica também ganhou adaptações para desenhos animados, filmes e até mesmo parques temáticos. Os desenhos animados foram exibidos em diversos canais de televisão e conquistaram uma legião de fãs. Os filmes, por sua vez, levaram as aventuras da turminha para as telas do cinema. A Turma da Mônica é um verdadeiro ícone da cultura brasileira e tem sido amada por gerações. As histórias abordam temas como amizade, família, respeito e superação de desafios, sempre com muito humor e diversão.
