What do you desire? - the deckerstar fanfic
''Desire is insatiable, it never gets enough after reaching its goal. He is not a thing in itself, or a substance, but a force that moves man: The more he desires, the more he wants to desire. Therefore, the purpose of desire is not the object, but the very act of desiring, because the more full of wills, the more uncontrollable man will be. And this lack of control is what man, in his most intimate instincts, seeks: freedom."
