UnderPray
Centuries ago a plague ravaged the world. No one knew where it had come from, how it had started or what its cure would be. It spread through their skin, infecting every kind of life it could find, degenerating their cells to the point where they could no longer sustain life in their bodies. Most of the human race was driven to extinction by the plague's first appearance on the surface. It spread easily, wiping out crops, livestock, everything in its path. Life was no longer sustainable on the surface and humans were forced to crawl into the bowels of the earth and face their sins. The war before the plague, which led to monsters being held captive underground, should now be forgotten for the common good. Humans had to kneel down to beg forgiveness while reporting surface conditions. But the plague didn't stop there, it soon descended and scourged every race it could find. The entire civilization that had been assembled was now succumbing to fear. No more human beings, now mutated monsters raised to madness at the hands of disease. The Fallen were lurking on the outskirts of the only capital that had remained standing, thanks to the monster king. The only hope lay in the form of two humans, reincarnations of opposing angels. One was destruction, its objective was in favor of the plague, purifying the world from the sins of the beings that inhabited it. The second was creation, life and hope, responsible for rebuilding the life that still exists. Both should face each other... But maybe that wasn't the plan of one of the angels.
