Takahashi Nanami has just moved with his family to the small town of Pearl, in the countryside of Japan. Being very friendly and sweet, Nanami soon befriends her neighbors as well as classmates Mizu-chin and Taka-chan. The 16-year-old has good expectations for her new life there, despite how much she misses her old friends. But when she meets her mysterious and enigmatic neighbor, Yano Motoharu, Nana's heart is completely shaken. She hangs between loving him and hating him, until Takeuchi Masafumi, Motoharu's father's brother, enters the picture, leaving Nana even more confused. Increasingly drawn to her siblings, Takahashi Nanami tries to unravel the family's secrets. The discoveries made will forever mark this time in her life.
