Percy Jackson now knows the price of being Poseidon's son, despite being unaware of the prophecy. After his mother's death, he moved in with his aunt in San Francisco despite the fear he felt of being chased by monsters, or of his aunt throwing him out on the street. After all, the events of last summer were not so simple. A change has taken place in Percy a lot, and he is no longer the naive and frightened little boy he used to be, apart from hallucinations and nightmares. And now with summer drawing closer, he doesn't know how to tell his aunt that he's a half-blood. But these are by far his biggest problems, weird visions invade his mind, and it seems his best friend is at risk, and the chance to bring Thalia back is with him. Another mission begins, but is that boy who never thought he was strong and brave really gone? As much as many try to deny the fears of the past always disturb us at certain times. So what now?
