Every ten years, 80 children are drawn for a chance to be part of the Accalon Institute for Nuclear Research and Strategy, one of the only honors a worthless child could have in their entire life. The raffle, or slaughter, as some called it, occurs when the number of employees at the Institute was already very low and needed to be replaced. The only people allowed to compete are children 10 to 16 years of age, with no exceptions. The children's task is simple, manage a fictional city. They would have to live and manage the place for a few months without the intervention of relatives or any adults. Groups were formed and alliances were drawn, everyone had their task established and had to perform it with the utmost effort.
