What would Ano Hana's story be like if Menma hadn't died? Well, we don't know, but this is the version I imagine it would be.
The city of Oshiooshi is becoming more and more popular all over the world, especially in Japan, because of the beautiful coastline. This also causes curiosity on the part of tourists who, without knowing if the cases reported in the last year are real, seek a short stay in the various hotels opened during the summer holidays that have just begun. Our protagonists were already very united, in childhood and in an event that caused a lot of nostalgia and some revelations when older, however they are currently separated. Despite the physical distance, their thoughts are still connected in a way that one can't stop thinking about others and especially the late Meiko Honma. Chance brings them together again, a year after the events reported in Ano Hana, but it is not known for sure how they will relate, after all, the longing, the hurt, the memories are merging into a whirlwind of emotions at the same time they rediscover the value of friendship with the company of the mysterious beings that inhabit the city of Shioshishio, submerged on the coast of Oshiooshi.
