With Charles gone, Valerie receives an unexpected visit, in which she will be emotionally supported to fill the void left by his absence and finds herself in an impasse of love and hate that could bring inexorable consequences.
Now recovered and in excellent health, Laura decides to return to the schloss with her father. Unable to escape fate, she has a reason to want to return to that lonely place: passively fulfill her role of romantic victim.
