"If I could fly like crows, I would go far, far beyond these gray clouds." For Hatsune Miku, emptiness is a familiar feeling. Carrying old wounds that never healed since childhood, she spends her days at the mercy of an apathetic and meaningless life, attending a college where she has no friends; unable to envision a future for herself and plagued by seemingly unanswerable questions: Will things ever be different? Would soon she, someone so weak and lonely, be able to move forward, emerging from the shadows into the light? In music, Miku finds her only comfort; a world of her own where problems do not exist. However, fantasy can't fix her reality... ...at least, she didn't think so.

All her life Miku dreamed of becoming an actress. And, when she finally did, she found herself trapped within the story she presented. Literally. Her co-workers had been living that same play for ages and could never go forward in time because they couldn't find the end of the story, so they always ended up going back to the beginning, and now Miku was stuck in that insane play along with them. Will Miku be able to fulfill her role as the protagonist and finish the story?
