After denying that they brought dinosaurs back to life through genetic engineering, on an island off the coast of Costa Rica, Isla Nublar, InGen went bankrupt. Six years later, a group returns to one of the islands and after being attacked by the animals, they manage to escape. One of them, Dr. Levine, returns very sick, and a photographer who was in Costa Rica, carry an unknown disease, which could bring the extinction of the human race. Meanwhile, the ambitious Biosyn manages to fulfill her greatest wish. Bring the dinosaurs to the mainland and profit from them. But everything goes out of control and a lost world is established on Earth.
