The last thing Kitana remembered was his immense desire to free himself from Quan-chi's curse. After the wound inflicted by Raiden, she feels her humanity return. She sees her body being carried by Raiden and arriving at the Special Forces hospital, but feels nothing. All she can do is watch the doctors struggle to save her life, while her friends wait in the waiting room... And she realizes that many things have changed during her absence. For the next 3 days, Kitana needs to understand what happened before the serious injury and also what happened afterward. She knows she has to make the hardest choice of all.
