Two children have their horrifying stories intertwined by a mysterious event. Persecuted by the supernatural entity known as Kane, little Carol Anne is braved to some unknown place. Contrary to what she had imagined, she escapes the clutches of her tormentor, not being arrested in the kingdom of the dead, as the last times. She finds herself suddenly in the haunted Overlook Hotel, where the powerful lit Danny Torrance is arrested, cornered by evil forces interested in her unusual powers. It is a fact that the presence of a sensitive like Carol Anne will only further stress the forces of the Maligno Hotel. “I usually evaluate the quality of a story by the sensations (and intensities of those sensations) it causes me. And reading They are here I really felt pain, agony, fear... No, not that the story is bad. Precisely because she was so good that I had all these impressions about her. Lyn writes in such a way that the reader finds themselves transported into the story and continues to suffer along with the characters, feeling exactly what they feel. Without a doubt, the best fic in this category I've read so far. Recommended to all lovers of the supernatural and leaving a little review to encourage the author doesn't hurt anyone, right?”
