That was the weird part of being Spiderman, Peter didn't exactly have a routine when comparing his old life. Anything could happen in a day, both for your teenager living with your Aunt May, and for your current life at 30 as a renowned scientist. Your past self would love to know that it was successful in the future to calm its own anxiety, but there are things this child is not ready to know. Things that would be complicated to explain coming from him. After all, Peter was a grown man, he had more to do... in this case, avoid the problems that a former mercenary and a friend could cause (as usual) by playing with time.
