This is a story written especially for the drabble challenge, and also my first experience as a writer (I've written it before, but this is my first time posting). I hope you like it a lot. A few warnings: ♥ October Challenge: Drabbles. ♥ Photo taken from google, I just edited it. ♥ The catchphrase doesn't belong to me, its author is William Shakespeare ♥ We all have the ability to create, plagiarism is a crime. ♥ This story and characters are my own. ♥ Anything similar is purely coincidental. ♥ Any comments are welcome, as long as politeness is maintained.

It started with a burnt toast in the morning, then with the keys inside the aquarium now and then, little by little she forgot everyday words and more and more she was surprised to wake up and have an old man by her side.
10 years ago, the Kingdom of Coralina fell. Everyone thinks the heiress died that night. Everyone is wrong. Coral is 15 years old, has a pink tail that shines too brightly, a broken necklace from her mother, and a father who keeps looking over his shoulder. On her first day at High Tide School, she meets her best friends and a blue-tailed prince who feels like he has seen her in a dream. What Coral doesn't yet know is that her past is coming back to find her. And that she is much more important than she imagines.
There is a kind of silence that weighs more than any war cry. It is the silence of the gap between the oaks across the frozen ground, the steam of a soup shared only with longing and the constant fear of waiting for someone who may never return. In Patavium, Aemilia became the lady of a home haunted by uncertainty. Torn between the relentless responsibility of governing the land and the intimate torment of not knowing her husband's fate, she refuses to succumb to despair. To protect the property and those who depend on it, Aemilia will have to find strength where only solitude remains, proving that dignity and love can be shields as sturdy as iron.
Alfredo is about to say goodbye to his best friend, with whom he is in love. It's the last summer before seeing him leave for college, and he needs to figure out how to deal with his emotions and not do anything desperate.
Some doors, once opened, can never be closed again. Helena is in no hurry, nor is she afraid, and she does not let herself be swayed by pretty words. But every rose has its thorn. When two such different presences cross her path, she will discover that it is not possible to keep everything under control at all times. One calms, the other sets ablaze. One is shelter, the other is storm. For even the gentlest calm holds a flame, and within the storm itself there is already a harbinger of tranquility - each heart carries within itself both the flame and the breeze that can extinguish it. Be careful not to lose yourself. The labyrinth is yours, and only you will find the way out.
In a city devastated by war, we follow the journey of two survivors who have learned, each in their own way, to live with violence, loss, and loneliness. He does not know that he saved her life. She knows only that he is more dangerous than the killers who threatened her. Neither of them seeks company. Nor do they believe that there is still room for kindness in a world where surviving demands so much. But a dead boy and an almost insignificant act of kindness end up intertwining their fates. Between small acts of care, silences, and difficult choices, two strangers discover that surviving the war may not be as difficult as learning to live after everything they have lost.
