The story follows Luana Luanova, a little girl born in Spade who is orphaned during the takeover of the kingdom. She ends up living a few years alone in the forest that borders Spade, Diamond and Clover, developing a keen perception of mana. Although she thinks she is doing just fine on her own, everything changes when she meets the one who, in the future, would become the 28th Wizard King, Julius Novachrono.
