red camellias
Akutagawa Ryunosuke received a strange letter from a strangely tearful and sad Dazai Osamu, who asked him to read this letter alone and never hate red camellias, which left the youngest even more confused. Akutagawa just didn't expect that letter to be both a love letter and a farewell letter, because the Jinko, Nakajima Atsushi, was dead and the cause was due to the red camellias.

The only certainty for a child's life after birth was death and for him, this was the only certainty that had kept him alive, claiming his own throughout the years he was incarnated on earth. Even if his wish was nothing more than a joke to those around him, Dazai Osamu would not give up without trying one more time. Who knew that in a moment of lapse he would finally reach his dreamed goal. Die.
He liked the chilly morning breeze, the feel of the sun warming what was left of the freezing cold of the night before.
After moving to Fukuzawa Yukichi's residence, Dazai Osamu starts to live a healthy life and socialize with the other children at the orphanage, creating a special bond with all of them, especially with Atsushi, an innocent and sensitive child with a tragic past. However, when he finally feels he has achieved a decent and kind life, Osamu has to deal with his dark and traumatic past.
Akutagawa wanted to be Chuuya's romantic partner... In the play, obviously.
To think that Akutagawa would fall in love with the girl he annoyed as a preteen... He really was an idiot.
