Emma é uma assídua jogadora de Asgard Online, um MMORPG onde ela assume o papel de uma guerreira asgardiana. Prestes a alcançar o nível máximo com sua personagem, um raio cai muito perto de sua casa e causa uma anomalia elétrica, tirando sua vida e queimando seu PC.
