Much better than Neil Armstrong

Synopsis

Not long after arriving on Earth, Mark discovers that his logbooks that kept him company throughout his time on Mars were not recorded in vain. They were handed over to NASA by nothing more than a simple mechanical engineer named Mindy Park. Mark would love to meet her and apologize that she has to watch every single video and put up with all her complaints about 70s disco music.

Astronaut Watney 69

Mark continued to keep his logbooks even after he arrived on Earth. Here some historical videos are recorded, from the first day of his arrival to his first contact with the media. " [REGISTERED ACCESS: DAY 1] Anyone who says I kissed the ground when I left Hermes and set foot on Earth is a liar, okay? Um idiot and a big liar. I don't care if they took a picture, I don't care, that still doesn't prove anything."

Never Gonna Be Alone

What if Mark Watney hadn't been left alone? What if he had been left with the love of his life? What if Mars was a necessary episode so that pride could be set aside and love could win? Mark Watney did not expect to be dropped off on Mars. But finding himself alone with his estranged wife, the brilliant Captain Jessica Carter, he had to learn to let go of his pride and learn to welcome back his former lover and best friend in order to survive. But are his feelings for her in the past?

The world they knew no longer exists. Now, all the survivors live in a refuge created by a scientist who died in an attempt to save humanity from something that even he cannot explain. Five years later, his son Victor, who managed to be saved when he was fourteen, and his friends set out to search their new city, which the survivors dubbed the 'New Order'. The quest, which once seemed to be just for fun, turns out to reveal a secret that sparks new hope for the survivors.

In the vast and indifferent fabric of space-time, where improbability is a constant and logic is rarely invited for tea, there exists the Department of Interdimensional Bureaucracy (DIB). Its purpose? To ensure that reality remains minimally functional or, at least, sufficiently confusing so that no one notices otherwise. But something went wrong. Horribly, catastrophically, fill-out-three-copies-of-reports wrong. Immanuel Breckford, a man whose greatest achievement until then was remembering where he left his keys, unexpectedly finds himself involved in one of the DIB's most catastrophic failures. Upon receiving a Temporary Ontological Adjustment Request Form 42/B, his existence is recalculated. To correct this cosmic blunder, the DIB sends Artemis Xyllan-7, Senior Auditor and specialist in metaphysical disasters. Armed with an expired stopwatch, a pen that alters probabilities, and the patience of a black hole, she has little time (and even less desire) to fix the problem before the universe decides to file Immanuel away permanently.
