The girl ran as if her life depended on it. She hoped that her best friend was still waiting for her in the square, even after several minutes of waiting. She sighed in relief when she saw the blond hair sitting on one of the benches in the small square that wasn't far from their houses. She slowed her steps and approached him with a huge smile on her lips. She was so excited to share the story she'd heard with her best friend that she didn't notice the sullen expression he possessed. "Owen!" she called out to him, gaining the little boy's full attention. — You're late! – he pointed out, shifting his green eyes to the flower that was in his still small hands. — Sorry, sorry. – the girl muttered, lowering her head. - But, my aunt told a story and I ended up losing time. — What story? Owen asked curiously. The little girl raised her ice blue eyes to the little boy sitting in front of her, who was playing dejectedly with a flower she thought was a tulip. And just like that, she ran back to her house, watched by a pair of guilt-ridden green eyes. He hated when he hurt her or when he let her down. She let out a sigh and looked at the flower in her hands, realizing that she had screwed it up.
