“A long time ago I saw a post I think on Facebook about the fic, I started reading it on a site that contained glee fics (I don't know if the site is still up), but I ended up losing the story. I found it yesterday, I finished part I and I'm going to start reading II. What I would like to comment is that I have been working with children with autism for almost a year, and the more you spend time with these angels, the more you grow as a human being! I can easily imagine Rachel being autistic, I really liked your work, there are very striking characteristics that I can identify in my children. The crises are very serious, but behind every crisis there is a reason, no person with autism has a crisis for nothing (I'm saying this from my experience working in the area). Before a crisis, it is noticeable that the child/adult becomes dysregulated, this can occur for numerous reasons, the most common is sensory disorder (it is the nightmare of the child/adult with autism). Ultimately, it is a universe parallel to ours that deserves and should be studied. A tip for you girls and readers is the book "Ten things every child with autism wishes you knew" by Ellen Notbohm, it's a wonderful book, the author is the mother of a fantastic boy who went from being non-verbal autistic to a young man who graduated from high school, went/travels alone, and shows himself that he is capable of embracing the world! I still don't know how Rachel is progressing in the second part but I'm going to find out! :)”
