“Simplesmente perfeito. Para você, que está olhando minhas recomendações e ama o filme "Hotarubi no Mori e" não pode deixar de ler está, pois ela é simplesmente magnifica. Perfeita. Linda e muito bem elaborada e escrita. Não me arrependo nem um pouco de ter lido ela e muito menos por ter me emocionado tanto com ela. Do começo ao fim foi perfeita. Sinceramente, não existe fanfic do Hotarubi mais linda que essa. Jack.”

The two had long wanted that, but fear had stopped them for a long time. When they finally did, that warm, tender sensation had completely overtaken them, but then... Only emptiness was left to her, she'd let him go, and when that reality hit her, she'd seen no escape.
What if Gin and Hotaru could be together? What would happen to the two? How would Hotaru's family react to seeing in flesh and blood the man they thought was her imagination? And how would Gin adapt to the life of a normal human?
The decision Gin had to make. The only decision he could make. The God of the Mountain shows you a little bit of the 'abyss' in which he subjected him. In a lonely world, where you won't be able to know the feelings that all humans knew. Where it couldn't be touched and loneliness was the only thing that would be present. Of course, he will always know that he could be touched by other spirits, with the delicacy they are used to, having fragile bodies like Gin, but there would be a day when he would want more than the gentle touches of the spirits. .
A few years have passed after the tragic event in the mysterious forest and Hotaru, now a young adult, could never forget her feelings, deciding to move to a house in the city near the forest. However, as the days go by in her new home, Hotaru begins to realize that she is being watched not only by an unknown boy, but by various entities in the forest who are trying to send her a message. The mountain spirit is willing to offer Hotaru a chance to recover her beloved Gin, but she must go a long way lit by fireflies to find the great spirit and bring back Gin's soul. She will face the deepest mysteries of the forest to go where no other human has gone and challenge some limits of death. Will Hotaru, along with her newfound friends, be able to prove her worth to the great spirit? Will her love be enough to recover Gin's soul?
“Gin will forever be by my side, no matter what. Because I feel it.” Hotaru finds herself lonely after the events, but one thing wakes her up. "[...] And fell apart in a flight of fireflies"
Gin would be there forever - just a touch away. Because disappearing means being erased. Forever.
