Wolf and the wild cat
An Alternate Universe of Golden Kamuy with OC insertion. The plot is a mix of the original / canon, that's because throughout the chapters I will move further and further away from the canon. Second Lieutenant Hagiwara Yuki joins the group on this hunt for gold with the group of Hijikata, the most lethal and skilled soldier in the Japanese army, with an enigmatic past and a somewhat complicated secret. Don't judge by the first chapters alone, because I promise twists and a good original plot and I'll give a spoiler: Tsurumi is not the true villain of the story, there is something bigger than his plan. Coming soon a sequel to the story that will take place after the Meiji period, during the First World War! I'm also posting it on other sites.

There was nothing in the world that Sugimoto could deny Asirpa. She was a sea of emotions, and all he had to do was adapt to the waves.
Bowser is stressed from all his royal duties, so Luigi decides to help his king relax. — Bowser vs Luigi
"I didn't know if what she offered me was serious, would renting her heart cost me just a smile? Part of me said it was foolish, that I should get up from this bench and go home to face my problems like the man who I was, that this girl, who infected me with her easy smile and happy look, was just a nutcase with nothing more useful to do than annoy me and the other part... That part found itself responding, first with the outline of a smile that was the required payment and then with the words I never thought would ever leave my lips..."
