“The Human won me over right away. It was love at first sight! ♥♥ The Host fanfics are always great. To date, I haven't found any that could be considered bad. Of course, The Human also fits into this category because it is spectacular! I dare say it's the best The Host fic I've ever read. I've always been looking for a fic about The Host from Ian's point of view and when I found this one I was in disbelief, seriously. I had already given up looking a while ago... and finding this story was the best thing that happened to me this month! I confess that I was very angry with myself for never meeting her before because I've been on Nyah for a long time (this is my third account!) and this fic is from 2011!!! Writing and good direction in the story are one of the things I value most when I read something, and writing this fanfic made me very happy. It's impeccable! Ian's thoughts regarding Peg and the invasion of souls on earth were very detailed. His feelings towards her too... and it was very moving because I always wanted to have more or less a sense of what he thought about our dear Pilgrim, or how he felt when Peg was around Jared... how and why our dear O'Shea has changed so much in relation to her since the first time they met... Perfect! I loved this fic! I read it all yesterday and today I came here to recommend it because Gaby really deserves it! My only disappointment is that there isn't a sequel written by Gaby :( Anyway... I really loved this fic and I hope it continues to win over more and more readers like me, despite how long it's been finished!
