“It's a story that tells the life of a boy who signs up for an online game called Stay Alive, and discovers that he sold his soul to the devil by agreeing to the terms of use and such. Therefore, if he dies in the game, the electricity or internet goes out or anything else like that happens, he will die in real life. Carried by more popular language, GAMERS students and otakus loved this story!”

Here you will see the complete story based on the PSP game! A summary? Tokio Kuryuu is an ordinary high school student who is addicted to games and has blood-red hair, which is quite striking by the way. That's why he resorts to games to forget about the world, as he gets teased a lot because of his hair. He sees news on TV and on the big screens of buildings in his city, Tokyo, that CC Corp. launched the new version of the MMORPG "The World" R:X (Multi-player online game "The World" Revision: X) and is dying to play, but finds out in a newspaper that the registrations have been closed and that the first players of the new version are in a coma due to a software bug causing brain damage (as all players wear special glasses called FMD). He's relieved he didn't make it, but still, he wanted to play in the new levels. Then, a girl named Saika Amagi transfers to her high school, and Tokio thinks she is the girl who appears in his dreams, as she is very similar. So this girl calls him to the school penthouse, calls him "hero" and activates a "disk" that makes him "enter" inside "The World" R:X, and then right after he gets a big mission!
