“From my journey in the world of fanfics, one of my first most visited categories was certainly Pokémon. Recently, I'm not enjoying the direction that the anime has taken, with weak stories and beaten formulas, being only the biggest catalysts to bring together the old and win new fans. In this aura of “loss of quality” where the franchise has been passed only to establish itself as a trademark for children, it was no surprising that most fanfics are but clichés of journeys or novels. However, amid so much disappointment with the franchise I like so much, I was surprised here at Nyah! By finding in the midst of so many clichés a story that would motivate me to read it with such voracity and taste. “Pokémon Nuzlocke: Heaven & Hell” is a gift in so much bitterness the franchise has been going through. Being a story about a Pokémon journey, at first glance it seems to be just another cliché fanfic amid so many others, however, the way this story addresses the Pokémon elements is making the narrative interesting as it goes. the reading. Breaking all expectations, the story already shows us a parallel world where humans and monsters are now enemies and coexist in wars with each other. And in the midst of all this chaos, there are members of both sides who want to bring back the old harmony between these species. In this context, we follow the main trio, Caroline, Amy and Alyss on their journey of not just living adventures alongside their monsters, but a journey to change the whole world. The author shows her competence in all aspects. The descriptive elements are all worked very fluidly, though exaggerated at times. Each word in a sentence is so well placed that it makes the imagination guide the rest and allow us to embark on this adventure, the scenes are all well elaborated and there is a very well done dosage between the moments of drama, action and comedy, besides of suspense and terror at the right times. You know when you should be afraid, and you can feel the adrenaline throb in your blood when battles are increasingly intense. And all this is dynamic in a fanfic where everything is well written. What captivated me a lot to read this story are the characters. With each chapter, each has their time to develop. All are charismatic and we can connect very well to them. We feel their fears, frustrations and insecurities, and in the midst of so many clichés, it is good to be able to enjoy such well -developed characters. In short, aisachi Misaki brings a new and engaging story, with a fluid and intense narrative that holds our reading. From a scale of 0 to 10, the story deserves with all due respect a 10 of my part, even with some caveats can be pointed out. Even so, the story is interesting and makes it worth only each paragraph read. For the lovers of Pokémon, I say unto you, Read this story and surprise yourself with it just like me. I just expect that, as certain that she will not be updated again, that the author finds everything she needs to be inspired again and finish this beautiful adventure.”
