Amidst a backdrop of war and disputes between supernatural creatures, Klaus takes back his precious French Quarter. At the same time, a family of brothers arrives in the new city, all with a common mark below their eyes, and at the same moment, witches declare an unfinished war. The brothers do have something in common, an ancient curse, cast by witches, where they turn everything they touch into rot and disease, especially the youngest Beladonna who has the curse in more quantity. Searching for a cure for centuries, they find clues to it in New Orleans and they won't rest until they find it.
