From a very young age I always knew what my role was as a woman in society. Daughter and sister of a marquis, she lived in the real world where people got married thinking about money, titles, status and connections. It used to be rare to see unions formed by more than shallow affection or mutual interests, marriage between aristocrats was nothing more than business and murdered contracts. By knowing the power of writing, I finally learned that the only love stories I could live were the ones I could write, stories where my imagination would have no limits, narratives I would be able to share with others and take them to my world, to places they could dream, desire. And, years after accepting and joining society's game by building a new mask for myself, I never thought that everything I built would be discovered by the last person I never thought about. However, the one I thought was the reason for my downfall... turned out to be my only salvation.
