Paulina Martins is a young woman from lower class who left her city looking for a job. She kept a secret about her life in another city, and hoped she could start all over again. By accepting to work at the Bracho house as a nanny for Lizete and Carlinhos, she could not imagine how many problems that family faced. By getting attached to the children, she tries to bring the family back together and happy. What she didn't expect was that she would fall madly in love with Carlos Daniel, a widower who hid his feelings behind his work, where he spent most of his time. With Paulina's help, he learns to express everything he feels, and to spend more time with his children. And little by little he will learn that his heart is not closed forever, and can be filled by someone else.

“Primeiro quero ressaltar a forma como essa autora escreve: Perfeitamente bem, dá gosto de ler. Erros? Mínimos, acho que até agora não encontrei nenhum, e se encontrei, já não lembro mais porque foram imperceptíveis. Sinceramente? Essa fic já está na lista das minhas 3 favoritas, (e únicas) hahahaha. Tudo nessa história é lindo, chegada de Paulina, a história dela, o romance com o Carlos Daniel, tudo em si é tão lindo. Sempre que eu termino de ler algum capitulo seu, eu já sinto saudade do próximo, é viciante, fica aquele gostinho de quero mais e mais, e mais, e mais, e mais... Tudo muito elaborado, eu estou amando ler essa fanfic, e por favor, não pare de escrevê-la, eu não sei se conseguiria viver sem ela.”
