Katie is one of the nine children who escaped from Lorien, she is an alien who has unbelievable powers, she is strong and intelligent. She is being hunted by the terrifying Mogadorians, a hostile race of aliens who have destroyed her home planet, but she knows nothing of it. Katie's Cepan died when she was very young and she was adopted by an English couple who could not have children. Katie's parents are very conservative and keep a terrible secret. Katie tries to lead a normal life until some events completely change her life.
