Author's Notes: Greetings! This short story was written for the first edition of the Contest "Um novo amor", which took place in February (delivery of texts) and March (publication of results) of 2006. For those who know me, just when you see the theme of the contest, my participation will be very strange. I'm not really used to writing stories with a romantic focus, or that value love and all that cliché. Don't be scared, so I know it's not usual for me, however I really wanted to participate in this contest... Anyway, I wrote, but obviously since it's not my nature to write novels I had to mask things. So what you will find ahead is a science fiction story. It takes place outside the Gundam Wing anime universe, in an Earth in a few decades, full of technological innovations, but still with the same conflicts between nations and also between people with themselves. This text has a complex plot, as there are almost two focuses of narratives together in each of the chapters. The plot that covers the romance of the story is full of suspense. The text you will read is the second version. When I submitted the story to the contest, I didn't have time to review it. I just finished writing and sent it, I didn't even read what I had written before, because I was way past the deadline. So after the deadline, I used the comments from readers and judges to rewrite some points of the fic, being careful not to change any important points. Just improving passages and of course proofreading the text. This fanfic is dedicated to Misao-chan, Dee-chan and Thi, who were the organizers and judges of the contest, and therefore responsible for my writing and rewriting it.
